Testosterone is often thought of as a male hormone, but it is important for both men and women. It can play a role in libido, energy, mood, motivation, muscle strength, body composition and overall vitality.
Levels can change with age, health, medication, stress, menopause, alcohol use, sleep disruption and other factors. Symptoms alone are not enough to know whether testosterone treatment is suitable, which is why Remivida Select uses a blood-test-led, clinician-approved process.
Our bespoke testosterone cream is compounded to your individual requirements and supplied in a metered pump system. It is available in a range of strengths, from ultra-low dose 0.1% through to high-strength 10%, where clinically approved.

Who is bespoke testosterone cream for?
Bespoke testosterone cream may be suitable for selected men and women who have symptoms that may be linked to low or suboptimal testosterone and whose blood results support treatment.
These symptoms can have many causes. Testosterone treatment is only considered after blood testing and clinician review.

Each pump delivers 0.5 mL of cream.

Why blood testing is required
Testosterone is a prescription-only medicine. It should only be used when clinically appropriate.
A blood test is required before treatment because it helps your clinician understand your hormone levels and check important safety markers.
Follow-up blood testing may also be required after starting treatment or changing dose.
This helps your clinician check whether your treatment is working as intended and whether it remains safe.

The testosterone-only test is designed to give a simple starting point. Your clinician may still request additional markers, such as SHBG, free testosterone, full blood count, liver function, lipids, oestradiol or PSA, depending on your sex, symptoms, medical history and the strength being considered.
Which test should I choose?
Choose the Simple Testosterone Test if you only want to check testosterone before speaking with the clinician.

For men who are suitable for a licensed testosterone treatment, we can offer Testogel® 16.2 mg/g gel in a metered pump.
Testogel is a licensed testosterone replacement therapy for adult men with confirmed testosterone deficiency. It is prescribed only after blood testing, clinical assessment and approval by a clinician.
This option may be suitable for men who prefer a licensed branded treatment rather than a bespoke compounded cream.

The goal is to restore testosterone to an appropriate level under medical supervision.

General application guidance:
